Eric J. Nelson, Attorney-at-LawEric has been a life-long resident of Lansing. A focus on International Relations while studying at Michigan State University’s James Madison College led him to his future in the law, culminating with his graduation from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. As an active member of the State Bar of Michigan, Eric represents clients in both State and Federal courts in Michigan.Eric is the founding member and chief attorney of Chapterhouse P.L.L.C., a mid-Michigan law firm serving a diverse clientele.
Whether it’s drafting contracts, or representing the Company in court, Eric enjoys protecting the interests of the people who take the leap from the inception of an idea, to its eventual place on the big screen.
A cinephile to the core, Eric is proud to be joining the Collective Development family. Eric’s firm roots in the Lansing area brought him into early contact with the creative minds of Writer/Producer/Actor DJ Perry and Director Jeff Kennedy. Recognizing a kinship in direction and spirit, the only logical step was to bring his legal skills to the table…to serve the tribe.
